JIM RATLIFF founded Ratliff and Taylor in April 1990 and has presided over the company ever since. He is responsible for the overall business with specific attention to customer relationships, quality, strategy, marketing and communications. He works exclusively with C-Level executives and is best known and recognized for his innovative transition programs and entrepreneurial success at the senior executive levels. Jim is well known in the investment community as an owner, investor and board member of many local Companies, and is knowledgeable in all aspects of small business and franchise development. Jim has a strong background at the executive level in strategic planning, sales, marketing and general management for several Fortune 500 companies. Jim is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the International Association of Career Management Professionals (IACMP). He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Eastern Kentucky University and an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College.

Chief Executive Officer
MIKE MILBY joined the company in 2002 as a Partner and quickly rose to the position of Chief Executive Officer. In addition to managing daily operations, he coaches senior level executives in Ratliff & Taylor’s executive outplacement program and consults with client companies on a broad range of strategic human resource issues. Due to the outstanding reputation he has established in coaching executives, he is routinely engaged by business leaders throughout Northeast Ohio to provide career counseling support. As a former Human Resources Executive with a Fortune 1000 company Mike brings a unique perspective, not only to Ratliff & Taylor’s portfolio of services, but the way those services are delivered. Mike holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Louisville, Louis D. Brandeis School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Centre College of Kentucky. He was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1983 and is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, American Bar Association, Society for Human Resources Management, and the Northeast Ohio Human Resource Planning Society.

FREDERICK E. (RICK) TAYLOR joined the company in 1994 and serves as President of Ratliff and Taylor, Inc. Rick is currently responsible for the delivery of all recruiting and Search Services. He is a proven professional in Human Resource Management, Executive Search and Career Transition Services. Rick’s 25 plus years of experience working as a Vice President in Human Resources for such companies as KeyCorp, BP America, McDonald & Company Securities and Ernst & Young. Rick is currently the President of the Northeast Ohio Human Resource Planning Society having also served as the Treasurer and Vice President. He is the founder of a national award winning Human Resource Networking Group. Rick has also held numerous leadership positions including the Ohio State Director with The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and leadership roles with Cleveland SHRM. Rick Taylor holds a B.S. in Business Management from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. He also received the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation from the Society for Human Resources Management.

Sr. Vice President
KEN SACHS joined Ratliff & Taylor in November 2003. He is responsible for expanding and maintaining client relationships, marketing and enhancing our service offerings. Ken provides consulting solutions for all of Ratliff & Taylor’s practice areas. Client organizations range from Fortune 500, middle market to smaller, privately held and span all industry segments including manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, consumer products, retail, educational, professional services, and not-for-profit. Prior to joining Ratliff & Taylor, Ken was Regional Managing Director of Spherion Human Capital Consulting. Prior corporate experience includes operational and staff assignments with Bendix, General Motors and Comerica Bank. He is an active participant in the Northeast Ohio Human Resource Planning Society (NOHRPS), Cleveland and Akron chapters of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Employment Management Association (EMA) and International Association of Career Management Professionals (IACMP). Ken graduated summa cum laude from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communications and completed graduate work in Organizational Development at the University of Detroit.

Sr. Vice President Career Transition
Nada Norval is Senior Vice President Transition Services. Since 1991, she has provided career transition counseling to senior executives, middle management, professionals, administrative and hourly candidates. She has also managed career transition centers; conducted career transition workshops for exempt, non-exempt and hourly personnel; trained colleagues and consultants on job search strategies/techniques; and presented on topics such as networking, interviewing, negotiations, and technology. Prior to her role with Ratliff and Taylor, Nada worked 10 years with IBM in sales, marketing and customer service management. Her primary responsibilities included national accounts, sales support programs, and new business generation. Over the years, Nada developed hands-on knowledge in many Northeast Ohio industries including manufacturing, chemical, distribution, health care, transportation, banking, insurance, government, education and retail.

Vice President Career Transition
JANET (JAN) DUDSAK is Vice President of Transition Services and Human Resources for Ratliff and Taylor, Inc. Jan has an extensive background in human resource management, employee relations and training and development. Starting as a Corporate Trainer with Rubbermaid Inc., she progressed through various roles including Division Human Resource Manager for The Little Tikes Company, Hudson, OH and Vice President of Human Resources, Rubbermaid Health Care Division in Statesville, NC. Most recently she served 5 years as Vice President, Human Resources for Doskocil Manufacturing located in Arlington, TX. Her broad generalist background, knowledge of hiring practices, and her experience in counseling, translates directly to assisting our Outplacement clients in their job-search process. Jan is also responsible for managing the functional area of Human Resources for Ratliff and Taylor, Inc.

Vice President, Search Operations
DAVID D. PACK is Vice President, Search Operations. He is an experienced professional with over 20 years of proven results in the recruiting industry. David is responsible for the project assignments, scheduling, hiring, training, client relations and quality of work from our recruiting team. David has managed search practices at three major employment services successfully completing assignments at the local, national and international level. In addition to his generalist background, David has extensive accomplishments that span the high-tech industries to manufacturing, construction, automotive, consumer, food and financial industries.David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio University and lives in the Strongsville area with his family where he is an active member of church and civic organizations.

Vice President, Interim Placement
CLAY BEDIANT joined the Ratliff and Taylor consulting team in 2005, and has been responsible for establishing a new Interim Placement Practice in the firm. He designed the platform and has built a support infrastructure that has enabled him to provide high quality professionals on a temporay assignment basis to Ratliff and Taylor client companies. Clay has more than 25 years experience in Human Resources and Information Systems Consulting. He directed consulting operations for Dowling Consulting Group prior to coming to Ratliff and Taylor including: business development, project management, project delivery, and resource management. Prior to Dowling Consulting, Clay served as a Regional Manager for Information Builders, a $350 million, Business Intelligence and Middleware Company. Clay directed the efforts of two profit centers, set regional sales strategies, created compensation plans, oversaw project delivery, hiring, reviews, budget planning, and employee development. He was instrumental in the evolution to solution based business sales and delivery.

Vice President, Interim Placement
CHUCK WARD is Vice-President of Interim Placement Services. Since joining the company, Chuck has been responsible for providing clients with contract staffing and project outsourcing services in the areas of human resources, finance and information technology. He is an experienced professional in staffing and project management, providing services for over 20 years to Fortune 1000 clients throughout Northeast Ohio. Prior to his role with Ratliff & Taylor, Chuck was Senior Manager for a regional information technology services provider for 10 years. While there, he functioned in various roles in marketing, recruiting and as a site manager providing leadership for large-scale systems integration and staffing projects at key accounts. His industry experience includes retail, banking, manufacturing, health care, insurance, government and financial services. Chuck holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He has completed certificate courses in marketing, project management and information technology from General Electric, Westinghouse and IBM.

Leadership Development
Dr. Stacy Feiner is an accomplished human capital strategist, corporate manager, and psychologist. She works in partnership with decision makers, leadership teams, and stakeholders to align individual motivators with successful corporate culture. Stacy’s focus on human capital planning provides clients unique inroads for building businesses based on cultural adaptability, enhanced revenue, and sustainable transfer of leadership.
Stacy has the ability to mobilize individuals and groups whose progress is stalled, as well as propel success beyond prescribed goals and forecasts. Clients value her diversity of thought as well as her insight on the drivers of human behavior. Her work as a clinical psychologist allows her to help clients identify areas for growth and readiness for change thus enabling them to reach their unique potential.
Stacy began her career as a clinical psychologist and family business consultant. She moved to corporate human resources at Merrill Lynch where she was involved in the successful restructuring of the Wealth Management sales platform, and then ultimately joined a sales team in Cleveland, Ohio. Stacy later returned to human resources with KeyCorp where she focused on Human Capital Planning and M&A activities. Stacy’s breadth of experience affords her an intimate understanding for engaging high performers and building an effective workforce.
Stacy earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School for Professional Psychology. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Education from Hobart & William Smith Colleges. In addition to participating on non-profit boards, Stacy is actively involved in land conservancy, sustainability, and school PTA.

MARY KELLY is Manager of Search Services for Ratliff and Taylor. She joined Ratliff and Taylor in 2003 as an Executive Recruiter. Mary is responsible for managing retained executive level searches in the areas of Marketing, Business Development, Finance and Accounting and Human Resources. Prior to joining Ratliff and Taylor, Mary spent 15 years with a global professional staffing firm where she held various district level roles to include: sales and marketing, operations, recruiting and on-site management in both the Akron and Cleveland Markets. Mary earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Marketing Major from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio. She is a member of the Cleveland Society of Human Resource Professional (SHRM) and is active in her community.

Director of Search Services
LEIGH is Director of Search Services for Ratliff & Taylor. She serves as an Account Manager responsible for assessing the client’s needs, reviewing specifications, consulting on current labor market trends and helping that organization attract top talent. Leigh is also our internal Project Manager guiding the Recruiting Team with research, sourcing, screening and delivering the qualified candidate to the client. In addition, she is responsible for the internal Training & Development of the recruiting staff.
Leigh has over 7 years in the Executive Search industry focusing on middle to executive level positions in manufacturing in engineering, sales and finance. Prior to Ratliff & Taylor, Leigh had over 10 years experience as a Project Manager in Engineering, Sales Engineer, and Director of CAD at Nordson Corporation, Fischer Resources and Vanguard Plastics.
Mrs. Mars holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Kent State University. She lives in Broadview Heights with her husband and two children, spending her time with Church activities.
