Today Ratliff & Taylor is happy to congratulate our latest Career Transition candidate to land a new opportunity. Jean Smith, an experienced Human Resources manager, found her way into a new opportunity in the banking industry, which she shared fits nicely with her background and interest. She was positive about the outcome of her time here at Ratliff & Taylor and offered a succinct bit of advice about the importance of networking during a job search. “The ones you are closest to and think are definitely going to help you the most, end up not being the ones who do. So the importance of networking is that you never know who is willing to help.”
Ms. Smith along with many of our other successful transition candidates found the counselling and encouragement to keep networking, even when job offers were nearing, to be invaluable. We wish her the best of luck in all that her new career has in store for her.
