Steve Becker brings more than 35 years of business experience to his role as an Executive Coach with Ratliff & Taylor. Steve has held numerous senior-level HR executive positions with large multinational companies.
Most recently, Steve was the Chief Human Resources Officer for Signet Jewelers Limited where he also served on Signet’s Chief Strategic Council, Executive Committee and represented Management at the Board of Directors, Compensation Committee. Steve has also held top Human Resources roles in other corporations, including Senior Vice President, Human Resources for OfficeMax, Chief Human Capital Officer for Fujitsu Transaction Solutions and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Human Resources for Blockbuster Entertainment. Steve began his business career with Honeywell, Inc., holding several Human Resources Management and Organization Development leadership roles in the United States and Europe.
Throughout Steve’s career, he earned the reputation as a strong business partner, thought leader and insightful advisor by working effectively at all levels of organizations including the C-Suite and Board of Directors. Steve has consistently delivered key strategic and operational results, driven change, and built dynamic cross-functional teams. Those capabilities allowed organizations to generate competitive advantages, achieve high growth and rapidly change business strategies.
Steve has been involved in several organizational initiatives including start-ups, acquisitions, divestitures, business transformations and global integrations. He has been sought out and accepted several leadership assignments where he partnered with other senior executives to drive results through employee engagement, leadership development, organizational restructuring and development, talent succession management and culture transformation. Steve is known for his business acumen, strategic approach to Human Resources and his ability to develop, coach and inspire individuals and teams to achieve excellence, and deliver results.
