As a Senior Consultant with the Executive Search practice, Leigh specializes in senior-level and complex talent acquisition engagements. Her exceptional relationship-building skills with both clients and candidates, coupled with her consultative approach have given her a demonstrated history of success in executive search.
In addition to her consulting work, Leigh oversees the systems, technology choices, KPIs and processes that support the practice, ensuring seamless operations with the utmost quality and cutting-edge strategies that continue to put Ratliff & Taylor in the forefront as a top regional executive search firm. Leigh’s impact is evident in her previous role as Vice President of Search Operations. During her tenure, the practice experienced significant growth and success, surpassing national standards for time to fill, search completion, and retention. Her data-driven approach and focus on metrics were key to this success. After relocating to Wooster, OH, Leigh decided to step down from her VP position to join the team, bringing her expertise to a new role.
Leigh commenced her professional journey in project engineering, where she specialized in CAD and project management for a decade. Her tenure included roles at organizations such as Nordson Corporation, Vanguard Plastics, and Fischer Resources. Inspired by her father’s transition from plant manager to owner of a placement firm, Leigh leveraged her extensive knowledge of manufacturing and project management to embark on establishing her own business, focusing on the recruitment of engineers within manufacturing environments before joining Ratliff & Taylor in 2003.
Leigh is an original Southern transplant with more stamps on her passport than a luggage tag. Nine states before high school? Now, when she gets the itch for change, she transforms anything with paint. Anything. And when she’s not making a mess with her brushes and construction tools, you’ll find her teaching Christian parenting classes and bible studies at the local jail, her house and Wayne County Pregnancy Center. Leigh’s got paint in her hair and the Bible in her heart. She also is a new “Grammy” with two grown children and the love-of-her life husband, Jim.
